Look to the future at annual meeting
The future direction of North East Ambulance Service will be unveiled at the trust’s Annual General Meeting on 24 September.
The AGM provides a chance for trust members, governors and the public to hear an overview of the trust’s activities over the last year, view the annual accounts and the annual report.
It also provides the perfect opportunity to share the trust’s new mission, vision and values, following consultation with staff and people who use and commission services provided by the organisation.
To mark the occasion, the meeting will be held at Teesside University’s brand new flagship teaching facility, The Curve, from 12.30pm-3pm.
Members of the public are also invited to attend the public board meeting, which will be held beforehand at 10am.
Ashley Winter, NEAS Chairman, said: “Although our AGM traditionally looks back at the last year, this year’s event provides us with a great opportunity to look forward to our future.
“We are excited to be unveiling our new mission, vision and values, which underpin what our organisation stands for and what it strives to be.
“We have strong links with the university through their Paramedic Practice course and are delighted that they are hosting this very important event in our calendar.
“We hope you will join us in our celebration of what has been achieved over the last year and what we hope to achieve over the next year and beyond.”
Anyone who would like to attend the AGM and the public board meeting is asked to contact Trust Secretary, Jennifer Boyle, in advance via email at Jennifer.boyle@neas.nhs.uk or on 0191 430 2001.
