New Ambulance Station opening in Rothbury

WHAT - Members of the media are invited to attend the opening of Rothbury’s new ambulance and mountain rescue station. The station houses community paramedics from North East Ambulance Service (Service) and Northumberland National Park Mountain Rescue Team.

WHEN - Monday, 27 January, at 10am

WHO – The new station will be opened by the High Sheriff for Northumberland, Lady Harriet Joicey. NEAS Chief Executive Helen Ray will also be there alongside NEAS clinical operations manager Ruth Corbett, mountain rescue team leader Iain Nixon and some of the staff and volunteers based at the station.
