NEW FINANCE DIRECTOR APPOINTED AT NEAS
Kevin Scollay has been appointed as the new director of finance and resources at the North East Ambulance Service NHS Trust.
Kevin joins the Trust from the North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust on Monday, June 3.
He takes over from Lynne Hodgson who retired from the Trust earlier this month.
He said: “I’m really looking forward to working at NEAS. Like the rest of the NHS, the service is facing some real challenges in the coming years, with finance playing a key role in making sure we serve the people of the North East to the best of our ability.”
Chief executive Yvonne Ormston said: “We’re delighted that Kevin is joining NEAS. He brings a wealth of experience to the post and his knowledge of the wider NHS system will be invaluable.”
Previously Kevin was deputy director of finance at the North Tees NHS Foundation Trust, senior finance manager at the North of England Commissioning Support unit, divisional accountant at the South Tees NHS Foundation Trust and a directorate accountant at South Tees NHS Foundation Trust. He was also a graduate financial management trainee at the NHS Institute for innovation and Improvement.
