****DEFIBRILLATOR INSTALLED AT OUTSON COMMUNITY CENTRE AFTER TABLE TENNIS PLAYER SUFFERED CARDIAC ARREST*****

 

WHAT –

Launch of a defibrillator at Ouston Community Centre.

Mike Jones, of Bedlington was playing in a table tennis league match at Ouston Community Centre, and had just completed a game when he collapsed in cardiac arrest.

Earlier this year, Mike was reunited with the ambulance crew, an off duty Police Community Support Officer and a member of the public to say thank you to those who came to his aid.

Since then, Ouston Community Centre have raised money to install a defibrillator.
