A1 road traffic incident - 11 September 2025

A NEAS spokesperson said,

"We received a call at 06:07 on 11 September to a four vehicle road traffic collision at the coalhouse roundabout on the A1 in Gateshead.  A clinical team leader and three emergency ambulances attended.  Two patients were treated and discharged at the scene and two patients were taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Gateshead."
