A697 / B6341 road traffic incident - 16/8/26

A NEAS spokesperson said, "We received a call to 999 at 11.36 this morning (16 August) to reports of a two vehicle road traffic collision, south of the A697/B6341 junction.  We sent two emergency ambulance crews, a community paramedic and a clinical team leader.  Together, they assessed six patients - a mixture of adults and children.  They treated two patients at the scene and transported a further four to Cramlington hospital for further treatment."
