Ambulance attend road traffic incident on Wylam Bridge just after midnight - 15 AUG

A spokesperson for North East Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 00.18h today (15 AUG) to a road traffic collision involving a pedestrian and a car on Wylam Bridge.

"We dispatched an ambulance crew, a doctor in a rapid response car, a rapid response paramedic and a clinical team leader, who treated one patient before conveying to hospital."
