Incident at Causey Arch, County Durham - Monday 27 October 2025

A spokesperson for North East Ambulance Service said: "We were called to a medical incident at Causey Arch, County Durham, at 2pm this afternoon, 27 October. We dispatched a double crewed ambulance, one vehicle from our Hazardous Area Response Team and were supported by Great North Air Ambulance Service. One patient was taken by air to the Royal Victoria Infirmary."
