Incident in Durham city centre - 18 June 2026

A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to support an incident in Millennium Place in Durham at 11.11am on 18 June.

"We dispatched an officer, two crews from our Hazardous Area Response Team and a duty officer, who were all stood down by our police colleagues once the area was deemed safe."
