Incident near Headland in Hartlepool - 16 Jan

A spokesperson for North East Ambulance Service said: "We attended an incident near the Headland in Hartlepool after receiving a call just before 9.40pm last night for reports of a woman in the water.

"She was rescued by RNLI who took her back to the RNLI Lifeboat station where a paramedic ambulance crew and clinical team leader met up with them. We took one patient to hospital."
