NEAS attends collision between pedestrian and car in Nevilles Cross - 26 October

A spokesperson for North East Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 1.54am this morning (26 OCT) for a pedestrian who had been involved in a collision with a car at the junction of Newcastle Road and Darlington Road in Nevilles Cross, Durham.

"We dispatched two paramedic ambulance crews, a specialist paramedic, a doctor and a duty officer to the scene. They treated one patient with injuries to her head and chest before taking her to the RVI in Newcastle."
