Road traffic incident at the exit of the northbound Tyne Tunnel - Tuesday 16 December 2025

A spokesperson for North East Ambulance Service said: "We were called to a road traffic incident at the exit of the northbound Tyne Tunnel shortly after 9am on 16 December. We dispatched a double crewed ambulance and one patient was taken to Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital."
