Road traffic incident - Aycliffe Avenue, Gateshead - Tuesday, 10 March 2026

A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of a road traffic collision on the junction of Aycliffe Avenue, in Gateshead at 7.44am on Tuesday, 10 March.

"We dispatched one ambulance crew, who assessed three patients in total and took one patient to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital."
