Road traffic incident - Lynton Avenue, Jarrow - 19 March 2026

A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Lynton Avenue in Jarrow at 1.43pm on 19 March.

"We dispatched one ambulance crew, a crew from our Hazardous Area Response Team and a clinical team leader, and transported one patient to South Tyneside Hospital."
