Road traffic incident near Claxton, Billingham - Friday, 23 January 2026

A North East Ambulance service spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of a road traffic collision off the A689 in Claxton at 12.23pm on 23 January.

"We dispatched one ambulance crew, an advanced care practitioner and a clinical team leader, and transported one patient to North Tees Hospital."
