Road traffic incident on A1 near Felton, Northumberland - Monday 17 August 2026

A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We receieved a call at 2.13pm on Monday 17 August to reports of a road traffic incident on the A1 near Felton, Northumberland. We dispatched two ambulance crews, a clinical team leader, and two crews from our Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) to the scene. Two patients were transported to NSECH for further treatment.”
