Road traffic incident on A1 northbound near Gosforth, Newcastle - Wednesday 11 June 2025

A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to a road traffic incident on Wednesday 11 June at 14:47 on A1 northbound near Gosforth in Newcastle. We dispatched one ambulance crew, one clinical team leader and two HART crews (Hazardous Area Response Team). One patient was taken to Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital."
