Road traffic incident on A171 near Saltburn-by-the-Sea - Friday 28 August 2026

A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to a road traffic incident on A171 near Saltburn-by-the-Sea on Friday 28 August at 19:29. We dispatched two ambulance crews, one clinical team leader and a community first responder to the incident. Two patients were taken to James Cook University Hospital for further treatment."
