Road traffic incident on A189 near Cramlington - Saturday 18 April 2026

A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 1.52am on Saturday 18 April to reports of a road traffic incident on the A189 near Cramlington. We dispatched an ambulance crew, a specialist paramedic, and a clinical team leader to the scene, and requested support from our colleagues at the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) who attended by road. One patient was taken to the RVI for further treatment.”
