Road traffic incident on A19 near Silverlink, Wallsend - Saturday 20 December 2025

A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to a road traffic incident on Saturday 20 December on the A19 near Silverlink in Wallsend at 19:26. We dispatched two ambulance crews and one clinical team leader. Two patients were taken to Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care hospital (NSEC)."
