Road traffic incident on Coast Road, Seaham - Monday 19 January 2026

A spokesperson for North East Ambulance Service said: "We were called to a road traffic incident on Coast Road, Seaham shortly before 1pm on 19 January. We dispatched a double crewed ambulance, a clinical team leader, one vehicle from our Hazardous Area Response Team and were supported by the medical car from Great North Air Ambulance. One patient was taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmary with a doctor on board."
