Road traffic incident on Ellison Street, Jarrow - Monday 22 June 2026

A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to a road traffic incident on Ellison Street in Jarrow at 5:39am on Monday 22 June. We dispatched one ambulance crew, one rapid response paramedic, one clinical team leader and were supported by our colleagues at Great North Air Ambulance Service. One patient was taken to hospital by road for further treatment."
