Road traffic incident on junction of Welbeck Road and Monkchester Road, Newcastle - Wednesday 14 May 2025

A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 7.42am on Wednesday 14 May to reports of a road traffic incident on the junction of Welbeck Road and Monkchester Road in Newcastle. We dispatched an ambulance crew to the scene and requested the support of our colleagues at the fire service. One patient was transported to the RVI for further treatment.”
