Road traffic incident on Kenton Road - Tuesday 6 January 2026

A spokesperson for North East Ambulance Service said: "We were called to a road traffic incident on Kenton Road, Newcastle shortly before 4.30pm on 6 January. One of our Patient Transport Service vehicles stopped at the scene and we dispatched a clinical team leader. One patient was taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmary."
