A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to a road traffic incident on Normanby Road in Middlesbrough on Friday 13 March at 00:08am. We dispatched one ambulance crew and one clinical team leader to the incident. One patient was taken to James Cook University Hospital."
