Road traffic incident on the A1 near Alnwick- Monday 4 May 2026

A spokesperson for North East Ambulance Service said: "We were called to a road traffic incident on the A1 near Alnwick at 12.05pm on 4 May. We dispatched three double crewed ambulances and a clinical team leader. Two patients were taken to Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital."
