Road traffic incident on the A1018, Cleadon, Sunderland - Tuesday 24 February 2026

A spokesperson for North East Ambulance Service said: "We were called to a road traffic incident on the A1018, Cleadon, Sunderland, at 4.37pm on 24 February. We dispatched two vehicles from our Hazardous Area Response Unit, a clinical team leader and a double crewed ambulance. One patient was taken to South Tyneside Hospital."
