Road traffic incident on the A174 in Hartlepool - Friday 20 March 2026

A spokesperson for North East Ambulance Service said: "We were called to a road traffic incident on the A174 in Hartlepool at 3.20pm on 20 March. We dispatched two double crewed ambulances, a duty officer and were supported by Great North Air Ambulance Service. One patient was taken to James Cook Hospital by air."
