Road traffic incident on the A19 near Peterlee - Thursday 20 August 2026

A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 6.52am on Thursday 20 August to reports of a road traffic incident on the A19 near Peterlee. We dispatched two ambulance crews and a crew from our Hazardous Area Response Team (HART), and treated and discharged one patient on-scene.”
