Road traffic incident on the A691 on Woodside Bank, Consett - Sunday 30 August 2026

A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to a road traffic incident on the A691 on Woodside Bank in Consett at 18:44 on Sunday 30 August. We dispatched one ambulance crew and were supported by two off duty paramedics. One patient was taken to University Hospital of North Durham (UHND) for further treatment."
