Road traffic incident on the Coast Road at North Shields - Tuesday 24 February 2026

A spokesperson for North East Ambulance Service said: "We were called to a road traffic incident on the Coast Road at North Shields at 5.45pm on 24 February. We dispatched a double crewed ambulance, a specialist paramedic and a clinical team leader. One patient was taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmary."
