St Mary's Lighthouse incident

A NEAS spokesperson said, 'We received a call to 999 at 20:20 this evening (15 October 2026) to reports of a two vehicle road traffic collision near the car park on St Mary's Island access road, Whitley Bay.  We sent three emergency ambulance crews, a clinical team leader and the Hazardous Area Response Team.  We took three patients to Cramlington Hospital for further treatment."
