Governor, Dovid spoke to us about his role
"I am already a volunteer as a medic for a local community first response and ambulance service within Gateshead and I thought my pre-hospital experience could ensure the South of Tyne constituents are getting the best possible service from NEAS, which is already the best performing ambulance service nationally.
"The ability to act as a critical friend to the non executive team, is an important function and helps ensure that NEAS remains a patient focused service first and foremost.
"I also work at a local primary school and have been a governor at North East Ambulance Service since July 2024.
"like to enjoy family time with my wife and children. Being born and bread in the North East, I love our corner of England, especially when the sun shines!"
