A number of agencies have come together to provide a safe and timely response for residents and visitors of Northumberland’s picturesque Holy Island in the event of a medical emergency.

There will be an extraordinary public Board Meeting on Thursday 3 August at 1:30pm via Microsoft Teams. It will be a single item agenda to discuss the recent independent review report.

Lights and sirens will join scores of young runners and volunteers at this coming week’s Saltwell Junior Parkrun in Gateshead to celebrate the NHS 75^th birthday.  

North East Ambulance Service has teamed up with the event organisers, along with NHS and health representatives from across the area. 

An emergency ambulance and branded NHS75 transport vehicle from the Queen Elizabeth hospital will also be present with NHS staff to cheer on the runners.
