This week, seven colleagues from the North East Ambulance Service were awarded with the Queen’s Medal at a ceremony at Gosforth Park Hotel in Newcastle.

Over 60 members of staff were recognised for their outstanding contribution to the service and its patients from over 250 nominations from colleagues and members of the public.
